Santa In The Caboose
KMRHS holds this event at the KMRHS clubhouse - 9336 N. Riverview Drive.
Children can talk to Santa Claus in our real 1912 wooden caboose. Bring your camera.
In the clubhouse, our 20x40 foot HO scale layout will be on display, and a 4x8 foot HO scale
layout will be available for the children to run trains. There will be gifts for the
kiddies that see Santa and games and refreshments for all. It is all FREE!
KMRHS - Spring Swap Meet
KMHRS holds this event at the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds.
There are generally over 150 vendor tables with all scales of railroad items
and railroad memorabilia. A nominal admission fee is charged. Children ten and
under are free when accompanied by an adult. There is a county licensed food concession in the building. Parking is free.
KMRHS - Fall Show and Sale
KMHRS holds this event at the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds.
There are generally over 175 vendor tables with all scales of railroad
items and railroad memorabilia. Clinics on various railroad topics are often held.
There are usually five to seven operating model railroad layouts of various scales.
A nominal admission fee is charged. Children ten and under are free when accompanied
by an adult. There is a county licensed food concession in the building. Parking is free.
